I have been editing professionally since 2012 and have worked in the industry as an editor in a variety of ways. In November of 2012, I signed with Raw Dog Screaming Press as their Poetry Editor and continue to hold the position with them in addition to independently freelancing and working with Dorrance Publishing as a writing coach where I work with everything from poetry to fiction to creative nonfiction.

If you are interested in editorial services, please head over to the contact page and send me an inquiry. I'm more than happy to discuss your project and give you rates accordingly.

"Stephanie Wytovich has been our poetry editor for a few years now and has taken the dark poetry scene by storm, causing heads to turn and other publishers to take note. Her keen eye for drama and fine-tuned sensibilities allow her to get the best and of a manuscript and leave the mundane behind." -Jennifer Barnes, Raw Dog Screaming Press

"It’s been wonderful working with Stephanie. She’s warm and kind and very patient. Her notes are incredibly insightful, which really helped me hone my collection. She gives ample time and support on edits, and while she is spot on pointing out things that need correction, she also praises things that work. Stephanie is the rare combination of warm, professional, and very competent. At every step of the way, I felt positive and confident we would produce a stellar collection."- Christina Sng, author of A Collection of Nightmares.

"I’ve known Stephanie for a number of years now as authors with Dog Star Books and Raw Dog Screaming Press. In those years, I’ve had the good fortune to see her amazing work as both an author and the poetry editor with RDSP. Her tenure as editor has taken the company’s poetry to new levels—garnering it a number of award nominations, industry recognition, and books from impressive poets. Recently, I had the opportunity to work with Stephanie Wytovich on my latest collection and I enjoyed the experience immensely. She is easily approachable with questions, loves talking about the creative process, and is passionate about the art of writing. Throughout the process, I felt that Stephanie encouraged me to stretch as an artist and push my comfort zone in my writing. I truly believe her encouragement and sharp eye elevated my collection to level that I couldn’t have anticipated. She is a wealth of information regarding literary conventions, poetic forms, publishing and other topics.  It was wonderful working with Stephanie and I can’t wait for the chance to do it again." - Matt Betts, author of Underwater Fistfight

"You can tell from any of Ms. Wytovich's collections she knows poetry. When she edits your work she applies that same love and knowledge to make every poem speak in its own voice. I can honestly say her editing made my poetry better, and working with her has made me a better poet." -Jonathan Moon, author of HEINOUS, Children of God, and In Memory of Autumn Leaves

"Stephanie Wytovich is an excellent editor. She works quickly, but effectively, pointing out what doesn’t work and helping to accentuate the good parts. She knows how to make a poem really sing." - Lucas Mangum(Author of Flesh and Fire, Mania, and A Killing Back Home)
